Women in Steel, who have made their
own mark as Brooklyn's only all-female steel orchestra, became part of the

Noted steelpan player Andy Narell came to town with Sakésho and filled the air with music at New York's trendy, world-music oriented Satalla club. The session featured mainly music from Sakésho's self-titled CD, starting out with "Laventille", and went on to include bass player Michel Albio's compositions "Karawak Dream" and "Grand Fabrice". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 'A Celebration of The Female Panist in March, Women's Month. When Steel Talks presents it annual pictorial tribute to female panists world wide. 2004 Trinidad Panorama Results' Allow me to share what is on my mind about the results in the large band category of the Panorama 2004 in Trinidad which took place on Saturday February 21.
